Welcome to the hyperArcana knowledge base—a wiki-style site devoted to the sci-fi/fantasy stories written by [Spencer Hey](https://heyspencerhey.com). The first novel in this series, *[[New World City]]*, will be released October 1, 2025. The second novel, *Blue Judgment*, is scheduled to be released April 1, 2026. The content here will be spoiler-free. If you haven't yet completed the book(s), you can browse without fear. ## Where to start? If you're just stumbling across this site for the first time, unsure where to begin, you might try the pages for [[The City]], [[Shuwen Li]], [[Stasi|The Stasi]], or [[Artefacts]]. ## Author's note This wiki/knowledge base is intended to be an ongoing work-in-progress as I write and develop the books. I realized as I was drafting book 3 (*Ka Sun Ra*) that I needed something like this. With just two books, I felt comfortable holding all (or mostly all) in my head. But with three... this was proving difficult. *Blue Judgment* also takes place before the events of *New World City*, and is set in a remote location ([[Outwash]]), whereas *Ka Sun Ra* takes place after *NWC* and is set in [[The City]], so there were many times when I had to ask myself things like, "Where exactly did I say X was?" or "What was the name of that person I mentioned that one time?" And then I would look it up in the manuscript. But far better, it seems to me—and far more fun—to have a proper knowledge base to spell all this out and keep it organized. Additionally, my hope is that the knowledge base might be something fun to read or reference for fans of the stories. Hence, my sharing it online!
