The Dark Web (aka The Spiders) were a once prominent gang in [[The City]], formerly members of the [[Big Six]]. Their domain of criminal activity was focused on telecommunications. The Dark Web was largely responsible for the assassination of [[Eli Strauss Sr.]] in 1995 c.e. The crime which ultimately led to their own destruction once [[Eli Strauss Jr.]] gained the mayor's seat in 1995 c.e. and conducted his ruthless campaign against them.
